Socks Donations for Puerto Rico
Cold winter storms in the USA demand more than any other item warm socks for the homeless! In sunny Puerto Rico, the same is true. The homeless need our help and yes, they need socks!
Hurricanes may be over for now, extreme serve torrential rains storms tearing homes apart may be over, earthquakes stopped, but homelesness goes on!
I could only imagine the ADDED financial hardships due to harsh countrywide measures to fight covid 19 pandemic in the USA and PR - have caused an increase in homelessness.
Socks for PR!
We are collecting socks (and of course other items) for the homeless in Puerto Rico. Some of my brothers and sisters are collecting other goods and preparing care packs. I'm doing a little bit to help, so can you. The last weekend in February Crown Outreach Ministries will be distributing care packs and reaching out to those who need hope and prayers.
Following February, the next outreach moments will be announced. Join us love as Christ did.
Send socks to PR, even if its just one pair of socks in an envelope that will help one life today. Or contact us and ask how you can help and what other items are needed most.

According to the borgenproject.com:
An earthquake registering at a 6.4 magnitude struck Puerto Rico on January 7, 2020. ... The aftermath of the earthquake has been unbelievable, causing the homelessness in Puerto Rico to spike. Currently, almost 5,000 residents had to move to homeless shelters. Also, there was at least $110 million worth of damage.
The aftermath of Hurricane Maria in September 2017 placed 10,000 people in shelters all across Puerto Rico. The island is still reeling from the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, as thousands are still homeless and struggling as a result of it. The total damage after Hurricane Maria was around $100 billion.

What does Jesus tell us to do?
“Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’
Then the righteous will answer him and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’ And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me."
