Located in the state of Andhra Pradesh, City of Chirala, India, a children’s home was established more than 11 years ago, under the compassionate care of founder Jakaraiah Pilli. Originally, the home was under the banner of Jesus Cares Foundation. In 2019, after four years of partnership, the founder Jakaraiah Pilli, along with the leadership of Pastor Mike Mieles and the board of trustees decided to reorganize the administration for a more effective ministry, renaming the mission Crown Outreach Foundation of India. It is legitimately registered in the State Department of India.
At present, there are 30 children, ages 2 to 17. Some children are orphans, others are from extremely poor families that can't afford to sustain their children economically. The children are under the loving care and Christian discipline of Pastor Pilli, his wife Pradipthi, along with admirable assistance of from a few volunteers in their community.
The condition of the living quarters for both female and male children are overcrowded and not optimal for growth and comfort. Pastor Pilli has graciously shared his home, his resources and most endearingly, his love and devotion to the shaping of young lives in the fellowship of our Lord Jesus Christ.
With help from the CROWN Outreach Foundation of India, our loyal donors and generous partners, we can build a brighter future for these children in hopes that they will grow spiritually stronger and spread the gospel in their local culture.
Our goal is to help provide assistance in expanding their building structure to comfortably accommodate the children in larger sleeping quarters, expand their study facility and construct a new space for worship.
