Our Story
On the island of Puerto Rico, in the spring of 2015, after the retirement of their pastor, a devoted group followers of Christ led by the Holy Spirt, came together to continue and fulfill the vision that was placed in their pastor’s heart, to have an English-speaking church within the community and surrounding of the town of Fajardo.
Understanding the challenges they would encounter in a predominantly Spanish speaking territory, this remnant immediately felt compelled by the Holy Spirit to reorganize and plant a new church, with a greater vision, and a new banner under the will and protection of God Almighty.
With only a handful of loyal believers, CROWN (Christian Resurgence Outreach World Nations) Outreach Ministries (COM) was launched with the blessing of our Lord and the support of the community.

Pastor Mike Mieles and his wife Ruth have been at the helm since the very beginning of this new and innovative church, serving the local community and fulfilling the need to minister to residents whose first language is English.
Pastor Mike and his wife Ruth
Pastor Mike, who is the son of an Evangelical pastor, served many years as a musician on the worship team and elder in the previous church before he accepted the call to shepherd.
He is an outstanding preacher and teacher of the Word of God, with a focus on end times theology, or “eschatology,” the study of last things. His lovely wife Ruth volunteers as head administrator who serves the church and the community faithfully.
The tireless effort to serve God and man by leadership and its members, shows in the many outreach ministries spurred from this little church with a big heart. Open Arms ministries has successfully fed hundreds over the years with our soup kitchen and still provides a space for the homeless to bathe, clean up, hear the word of God with an open-door policy to receive anyone who is in need.
In 2017, CROWN spearheaded the Hurricane Maria island relief on the hardest hit residents on the east end of the island.
Together with the partnership of Samaritan’s Purse, Citi-Impact, the Puerto Rico National Guard and others. Converting the entire church to an essential needs supply depot, the Spirit lead COM’s team of volunteers to reach isolated residents as far as 2 hours away from our point of operations.
In the midst of gut-wrenching devastation, for over 7 months, the church delivered much needed supplies, compassion, the love of Christ, the word of God, a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, a hug of comfort.

Hurricane Relief
Since 2020, COM has been involved with sustaining a children’s home in India. On a missionary trip, Pastor Mike was moved by God and his own compassionate heart, to take over a Christian ministry that was supporting around 20 children under one roof, in hopes of spreading the Gospel, through these children.
Presently, newly formed CROWN Outreach Foundation of India houses 29 children, supplying food, clothing, shelter, school supplies, education, medicine and Biblical instruction with help from donations and sponsorship. Currently, the Puerto Rico based CROWN Church is actively working diligently to build an orphanage to house all 29 children. In the near future we believe that God will provide the funds to build a church in the town of Chirala India.
Yet the faith of a few believers was not confined by borders or vast distances.
We believe that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the help of donations and sponsors, we will be able to accomplish these tasks.
Pastor Jenny and her husband Kenn Santos
The church continues to grow, with several ministries both in-house and outreach. God has blessed these endeavors with the wise counsel and practical leadership of Pastor Jenny Ramos. Ordained in 2018, Pastor Jenny has been essential in orchestrating finance, directing the Women’s Ministry and advises on the church board on all decisive issues. She is supported by her husband Kenn Santos, who happens to direct graphic media content as well as teaches geographical and historical settings of the Bible.
Elder Sandy Ramos and her husband Willie Arce
Lastly, the team would not be complete without the powerhouse couple of Elder Sandy Ramos and Willie Arce. Elder Sandy is an understated essential contributor to the overall ministry. She is wise, knowledgeable and brings much needed fresh perspective to every aspect of our gathering and a force to be reckoned with when she intercedes in prayer. Her husband Willie is warm, charismatic and displays a keen insight to the word of God when he preaches or teaches. Inseparable, these two are the book ends to leadership.
